Silvery Moon Creamery has been crafting artisan cheese since 2003. All of our cheeses are made in small batches at Smiling Hill Farm, a family owned dairy farm since the 1700’s. The farm is well known for their full line of glass bottled milks, ice cream and butter. The milk for our cheeses comes from Smiling Hill Farm and other New England dairy cow farms. None of these farms uses artificial growth hormones or feed supplemented with antibiotics.
We are crafting over a dozen varieties of cheese, including Rosemary’s Waltz, Queso de Verano, Casco Bay Dulse, Fresh Cheddar Curd (plain and herbed), Tomme (plain and washed rind), Provolone, Fresh Mozzarella (seasonal), Fresh Ricotta (seasonal), Probiotic Yogurt (plain and flavored).
