Maine Food Festival featuring Maine-made cheese is October 12th, 10:30 - 3:00 in Unity at the MOFGA Common Ground Education Center

Next meeting of the Guild: October 27th, 10am, State of Maine Cheese Co., Rockport

The Maine Food Festival planning meeting will be on Wednesday, October 8th at 1:00pm at MOFGA's offices in Unity.
Eric Rector of MOFGA had the following information regarding the meeting:
At this meeting we will put together a list of materials needed for set-up and for the event itself; we will define and assign jobs for the event that to be carried out by volunteers. We will also be laying out the floor plan in the Exhibition Hall, and will need to know all confirmed vendors so that we can assign them a space and a table. Anyone is welcome to participate in this planning meeting -- I will be there with Russell (Libby), and we will need at least one person from the Cheese Guild who can speak about vendors and set-up requirements – ideally Caitlin. Presenters should let me know before this planning meeting what items they might need for their talk that they won't be bringing with them. I will contact everyone after the planning meeting to let him or her know what the final schedule is, and where we will need their help.
***Please contact me to confirm that you, and/or someone you know, will be volunteering to help with the event, and let me know what times you are available to help. The volunteer opportunities are for:

SAT: Set-up - 10am to 2pm
SUN: Set-up - 8am to 10am, Ticket Taking - 10am to 2pm
Breakdown - 3:30pm to 5pm
